About the Celebration:

Sip Juice & Color History is an immersive experience designed to empower young minds with stories of resilience, courage, and triumph from Black history. Through engaging activities, like interactive reading, art, and drama, children will learn and explore untold stories of the Underground Railroad, the Buffalo Soldiers, Great Kings and Queens of Africa, the Harlem Renaissance, and more.

What's Included:

• 'Untold Stories' Black history activity and coloring books (four book-bundle) at a discounted price
• Sip Juice & Color History kids' online painting party
• Private Facebook group for more fun, interaction, and recordings of past Black history painting parties.

What to Expect:

Each Sip Juice & Color History paint party begins with a lively discussion to set the stage for the day's story. From there, we dive into empowering short biographies and stories, encouraging participation and questions from our young learners.

Vocabulary-building fun follows. We'll define words that most kids don't know, and challenge ourselves to use them throughout the upcoming days.

Next, we move into creative expression and reflection through art. We'll get art tips and tricks and have fun with crayons, colored pencils, and even watercolors if we choose. We culminate with a unique Black history drama where kids unleash their imagination to add twists to real-life narratives.

“My son was at the the online party. He was listening so carefully and heard his fathers organization mentioned. I’m so glad he got to hear the history of his dad‘s organization, and why it got started in the first place.”

Essence B.

"This is awesome! This is definitely a great book loaded with rich history and amazing stories for not only kids, but adults too."

Sholian F.

Elementary School Teacher

"I wanted to say thank you again on behalf of our family! We had technical difficulties yesterday afternoon; the monsoons out here regularly take out our internet when they roll over the mountain…. (my son) ... loved picturing himself on a horse on the open plains having adventures (he said that if he was a cowboy, he’d never sit still for anyone to braid his hair so the wind could make the horse’s mane and his curls wild 😆) We are both really excited to learn more about the Buffalo Soldiers and visit some of the forts they’d helped build! It really helps make history come alive and I am very grateful. Much appreciation—we can’t wait to see what comes next!"
