What parents, grandparents, and teachers have said

"All of my grandchildren have
all of the books and my youngest granddaughter sleeps with her books under her
pillow and reads something from one of them everyday. "

Bernice O - Grandparent

"My son was at the online
party.  He was listening so carefully and
heard his father's organization mentioned. I’m so glad he got to hear the
history of his dad‘s organization, and why it got started in the first place."

Essence B - Parent

"We can’t wait for the next
one. My daughter loved the story and the art."
Whitney L - Mother

"This is awesome!This is
definitely a great book loaded with rich history and amazing stories for not
only kids, but adults too."

Sholian F - Teacher

"I wanted to say thank you again on behalf of our family! We had technical
difficulties yesterday afternoon; the monsoons out here regularly take out our
internet when they roll over the mountain…. (my son) was undaunted and broke out the watercolors,
at least, to finish up the picture—he really wanted to share it with you all as
a thank you!  Kota
would have loved to tell them himself how much inspiration he drew from the
books! He loved picturing himself on a horse on the open plains having
adventures (he said that if he was a cowboy, he’d never sit still for anyone to
braid his hair so the wind could make the horse’s mane and his curls wild 😆) We are both really excited to learn
more about the Buffalo Soldiers and visit some of the forts they’d helped
build! It really helps make history come alive and I am very grateful. Much appreciation—we can’t wait to see what comes next!"
