These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of colorhistory.com, operated by Color of History, LLC ("Color History," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these terms.
1. Products
We sell the Untold Stories Series — a set of physical, printed Black history activity books for kids ages 7–11 — available as:
- Single book — $14.99
- 3-Pack (choose any 3 titles) — $36
- Full Collection (all 5 books) — $57
Every order includes a free bonus digital activity page download and free access to our monthly Sip Juice & Color History live community event.
We also offer bulk book packages for schools and educators: Discovery Kit ($49), Classroom Set ($179), and School Pack ($749). See colorhistory.com/schools for current details.
2. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is collected securely at checkout and processed by Stripe. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices for future orders at any time; the price you're charged is the price shown at checkout.
3. Shipping
We offer free shipping on every order. Books ship within 3–5 business days, and you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
4. Returns and Refunds
Damaged, defective, or wrong book. If a book arrives damaged, defective, or is not the title you ordered, email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and a photo of the problem. We will replace the book or refund the price you paid, whichever you choose. We cover the cost of return shipping for these cases.
Changed your mind. Once books have shipped, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights for damaged, defective, or wrong books described above.
How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe within 30 calendar days of our approval.
School and classroom orders. The same rules apply to school and classroom purchase orders as to individual orders.
Your rights. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply where you live.

5. Foundation Donations
The Color of History Foundation, Inc. is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization from Color of History, LLC, with its own donation processing. Donations made through colorhistory.com/foundation support the Foundation's programs, not book purchases.
Donations made to the Foundation are non-refundable.
6. Sip Juice Live Event
The Sip Juice & Color History live community event is offered free with every book purchase. Event scheduling, format, and availability may change, and we do not guarantee a specific date or spot will always be available.
7. Intellectual Property
All book content, illustrations, and site content are the property of Color of History, LLC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission.
8. Website Use
You agree to use colorhistory.com only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with the site's operation, security, or other users' ability to use it.
9. Limitation of Liability
Color of History, LLC provides this site and its products "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products, beyond the purchase price of the product involved.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
